Awards – And Accentuate Hits The Road!
We’ve won another award, scooping first place in the Games & Puzzles (8+) category at the 2014 Rainbow Toy Awards!
These awards, established in 2009, are judged by a selection of families who reward the very best new toys, and are aimed at helping consumers to make smart choices in the run-up to Christmas and beyond. Our card game went down well; the testers of Accentuate said:
“We all had such a hoot! The game was funny and enjoyable and it’s nice to find something that is so different to the rest of the games on the market”
This latest win comes just weeks after Accentuate collected Bronze in ToyShopUK’s Independent Toy Awards (Card Game category), which were voted for by more than a thousand independent toy retailers, and confirms Accentuate’s position as a serious contender in the competitive games market.
“It’s absolutely fantastic that Accentuate has won the top accolade in the Rainbow Toy Awards’ Games & Puzzles category,” said Graeme Fraser-Bell, who invented Accentuate with his sister Fiona Fraser-Bell.
“It’s a highly competitive category and we’re thrilled that the testers recognised how fresh and different our game is compared to others. With Christmas just around the corner, this is a great boost – Fiona and I are about to take Accentuate to a number of Christmas gifting exhibitions and we’re sure consumers will be reassured to know that the game has already been recognised as a winner by both retailers and families.”
The first show Accentuate will be at is the Ideal Home Show at Christmas which is being held at EventCity Manchester on the 14th – 16th November. So come along, say hi (in whatever accent you like), play Accentuate and have fun with accents!
